Halton Hills Business Achievement Awards

Terra Cotta Cookie Co. Is looking for nominations for the Business Achievement Awards!

Specifically we are going for the Large Business of the Year and Employee of the Year Awards.

This year it is easier than ever; Just click here and nominate online: http://www.haltonhillschamber.on.ca/business-achievement-award-nominations.html

Why do we feel we should be nominated?

·         We have had tremendous growth in the past 12 months, expanding from servicing schools to many other types of businesses (retail, wholesale, private label). We remained true to our company values of using simple, wholesome ingredients.

·         Our company expanded to a 14,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility and stayed local to our hometown of Georgetown, we used many local contractors to assist us with our move.

·         We employ over 25 local amazing hardworking staff members; we even hired additional and temp workers and added a second shift due to demand for our products.

·         We launched our own Terra Cotta retail line and sold products locally throughout Halton Hills and beyond. We offer great value for our products, selling at wholesale pricing from our retail outlet.

·         We offer excellent customer service, always going the extra mile to ensure our customers get all they need.

·         Our product development team expanded and consistently is working on developing and testing new innovative products that stay on top of the trends.

·         We have been very involved in community events, being active Chamber Board members and participating in annual and monthly chamber events I.e.) Taste of the hills, Chamber Golf tournament sponsor, attending monthly Business After Hours.

I (Kym Taal) personally would be honoured to receive a nomination for an Employee of the Year award. I hope that I demonstrate hard work every day both in the office and in the community. I always have a positive, go –getter attitude and go the extra mile whenever needed. Our Fundraising programs have gained huge momentum this year and I have booked and coordinated over 40 campaigns in the first half of 2015. Not only has this grown the business but has contributed money back into the pockets of worthy causes. I embrace all new ventures of our growing business and am both effective and efficient when working in assigned tasks.

I personally sit on a number of Chamber committees and attend most chamber events. I have coordinated donations for many community organizations as my priority is to help the local community where we can. I strive to give excellent customer service both on the phone, by email or in person at the store. I am proud to represent this company and feel that this nomination would not just reflect on me but on all the hard work our staff puts in every day.

Any other Halton Hills Business and employee may also be nominated! If you get great customer service fill one out and be heard!
